This flowy outfit from Phoebe that's the definition of a new style I've just made up called, "ethereal chill". This Rachel outfit that she wore to not to look "too terrific," and yet, here we are. This Monica look that I would wear each and every day if I owned it. Friends Looks You Can Still Wear — And Where to Shop Them

There’s nothing that screams ‘date night’ quite like a little red dress and Rachel wore them like a pro. It was, of course, a variation on the classic slip dress, but packed a slightly harder punch. Our first glance of Rachel happens when she runs into the gang's favorite hang out, the Central Perk coffee shop after she calls off her wedding to Barry, the dentist. While wedding dresses are beautiful and exciting, Rachel's dress just screams "1994!" with its huge hat style veil and the big bow in the back. For those of us who thought of ourselves to be fashion mavens, we loved to tune into Friends to see what Monica and Rachel had in their closets week after week. It's an easy style to wear all year long, with sweaters or as a stand-alone piece for summertime.

Green is definitely one of Rachel's colors, and it's a funny coincidence that that also happens to be her last name. The slip dress ruled the '90s and are still reigning supreme decades later. I hope Monica held onto this gem when she moved to the 'burbs. If you can get past Monica's eyepatch, notice how good all the girls' boots are! Rachel's miniskirt-and-boots-combo was one of her go-to looks throughout the show, and now also my go-to.

This hey-I'm-stylish-and-professional-but-I'm-also-young-and-hip number from Rachel.

McGuire went on to explain that she didn't have the budget or time for the pilot episode to design a dress from scratch, so finding this gorgeous gown really was fate. If jeans feel too restricting but sweats seem too lax, the happy, Rachel-approved medium is olive green cargo pants. Style them with a printed, short-sleeved button-down for a vacation-ready outfit you can truly kick back and relax in. In recent years, sweatpants have become an essential part of our wardrobes. Make your own go-to pair feel less like loungewear by adding a cropped graphic T-shirt and platform flip flops.

While track pants and sweatshirts go together like peanut butter and jelly, it's time to switch things up. Make those bottoms feel elevated — and a bit more fashion-forward — with the help of a knit top or a shest, aka a vest with nothing underneath. In a shocking turn of events, trousers have proven to be just as versatile as a pair of jeans. A slightly-baggy, high-waisted option styled with a solid top is a low-effort, off-duty combo that still feels sleek. Rachel’s post-baby style is arguably better than her looks from Friends’ first few seasons.

"The One With Ross's Wedding, Part 2"

This look is glamorous, chic, understated, and seriously stylish — it's got to be one of Rachel's best ever outfits on the show. While "Friends" has plenty of looks that show off the best of vintage '90s fashion, there were also some outfits that haven't aged quite so well. In "The One With The Tiny T-Shirt," Rachel wore one of these very, very dated looks. You may remember her all blue maxi skirt suit with the matching jacket? She wore it in the scene when she gave Ross his stuff back after their break up.

This maxi mint green gown with the side slit is something we'd happily wear to an event today. With its thick spaghetti straps, it's slender silhouette, and its soft, pastel color, there's nothing not to love about this gown. While dark black tights may not be the height of fashion anymore, with this little black dress, they totally work.

She wore her short blonde hair in beachy waves and finished the look with a touch of bronzer to get that healthy pregnancy glow. A lot of Rachel's best looks on "Friends" came during her period of dating Joshua. She had just started working at Ralph Lauren as a personal shopper, so it's hardly a surprise that her fashion game was top notch.

Well, as I'm about to prove though this ranking of 27 great Rachel outfits, her clothes have stood the test of time. When it came to winning over the love of her life, Rachel Green chose to wear athleisure-style pants and fly to London to break Ross's marriage. The idea behind the ensemble was that she was rushing off, so she didn't have a lot of time to think about what to wear. Once she was established as a fashion executive, her style shifted between casual and sophisticated.

Unforgettable Rachel Green Outfits You Could (and Should) Still Wear Today

You'll be amazing by just how modern and chic Rachel sometimes looked — and also, how many of her looks have aged horribly. Here are the seven best and seven worst outfits of Rachel Green from "Friends." A slip dress is as versatile as an LBD; it's easy to style, comfortable, sexy, and practical. Rachel's patterned version is the perfect piece to wear solo with sandals, or layered over a long-sleeved top with boots. The episode starts with a frantic Ross urging everyone to start getting ready so they can be on time for his museum benefit. Fights ensue, and it appears Rachel will be staying home from her boyfriend's benefit.

She wore smart statement pieces like this neatly tailored suit on her job interview with Mr. Campbell from Gucci. Rachel was dressed in the mint green outfit for Ross's benefit. She kept the look simple with sleek hair and a watch for an accessory. Rachel took an entire episode to get dressed in "The One Where No One's Ready." The funny thing is, she still had about five seconds to spare after she figured out what she was going to wear.

Rachel Green’s Sporty Outfits

In Season 4, Episode 18," The One with Rachel's New Dress," she wore a floor-length dress on a date. Green went for a glamorous look in a patterned turtleneck with dangling earrings. Also in the "Pilot" episode, she wore millennial pink years before it was even branded.

Clearly, Rachel was ahead of her time, rockin' the sporty look for a game of touch football, all while maintaining a style that's both comfortable and cute. Monica wowed her friends on the night that was supposed to be her engagement. Of course they run into Monica's ex, Richard, and the proposal doesn't happen. Chandler almost loses Monica to Richard, but in the end, Monica proposes to Chandler.
